FL Studio over Ableton Live

 I bought FL Studio 6 years ago, when I applied for some support-oriented job with them (they ran away when I responded with $20/hr - apparently they really wanted a cheap intern).  I figured I should at least own the software so they wouldn't think I was some crack-using ass.  This is quite unlike Ableton, with whom I interviewed a couple of years later (specifically with Gerhard Behles & Dave Hill), who took it in stride that I used a crack and seemed more interested in finding a good employee.

A return to music production

Some 2 years ago, I decided to stop making music and put all my energy into building my business and moving to Costa Rica.  With the latter a fait accompli, the itch to make music has returned.  Or rather, the itch to be creative has been slowing growing for the past few months as I told myself over & over that once we get to Costa Rica, I can get back at it.

So now I'm here, in tropical paradise,
